When you download a Dolby Atmos version of a song, a stereo version of the song is downloaded too. To listen to the stereo version of a song, just turn off Dolby Atmos in Settings, then play the song.

You have to actually download the songs on to your Mac or MacBook to listen to them in Dolby Atmos, its pretty lame. Not sure why you can stream Dolby Atmos on an OS device without downloading the song but not on Macs. Its also not a seamless process... you have to download the song you want to listen to on to your Mac... Close your music app... reopen the music app and then you should be able to play the song in Dolby Atmos. Im just the messenger but Apple needs to fix this... I end up playing music on my phone for the Dolby Atmos so I don't have to worry about whether its picking it up when available... Id prefer to just listen on my MacBook but im not going to take time to download songs on to my hard drive for that.

Before pairing a Dot Watch to a mobile device, first download and install the mobile application. Apps are available for both iOS and Android. Please be aware that you want the Dot Watch 2 application, not the Dot Watch 1 application. This app is compatible with iOS 9 and later and Android version 4.4.4 and later. Note that the Android app will not be reviewed, as I do not own an Android device, though the experience should be similar. I evaluated the Dot using my iPhone 8 running iOS 12.1.1.
